🇬🇧 José Sousa and Carlota Mendes Gomes are among the injured, but less seriously.

The two Madeirans who followed yesterday on the bus of he tragic accident in Caniço, are out of danger, this morning.

Both Jose Sousa, 60, and the guide Carlota Mendes Gomes, were among the injured, but his state has evolved favorably in the last hours. The guide, about 30 years old, was suffering the most serious injuries but remained stable overnight and is progressing favourably.

From the accident in Caniço resulted in the death of 29 people, including two Portuguese and the rest German tourists who were preparing to come for the dinner at a restaurant in Funchal. Tourists were between the ages of 40 and 50. There were no children on board.

Os dois madeirenses que seguiam ontem no autocarro que teve um acidente trágico, no Caniço, estão fora de perigo, soube esta manhã o JM.

Tanto José Sousa, de 60 anos, como a guia Carlota Mendes Gomes, estavam entre os feridos, mas o seu estado tem evoluído favoravelmente nas últimas horas. A guia, com cerca de 30 anos, estava estre os feridos mais graves mas ficou estável durante a noite e estará a evoluir favoravelmente.

Do acicente no Caniço resultou a morte de 29 pessoas, entre os quais dois portugueses e o resto turistas alemães que se preparavam para vir jantar a um restaurante do Funchal. Em média, os turistas tinham idades entre os 40 e os 50 anos. Não havia crianças a bordo.
