Hotel Galomar

Restaurante Atlantis offers a full buffet breakfast that serves hot and cold dishes, jams, cereals, cakes, detox juices, teas, coffees and a great variety of breads and cheeses, cold meats and eggs (cooked to taste) in the show-cooking area. Restaurant menu offers many options: vegetarian, fish or meat, salad buffet and miscellaneous desserts. Enotel Quinta do Sol

Iconic hotel that has a beautiful indoor/outdoor pool and is 15 min on foot from Funchal’s centre

The work of the famous Portuguese architect, Raul Chorão Ramalho, Enotel Quinta do Sol is a reference in Funchal. It was recently renovated and got to keep its emblematic façade with Madeira’s traditional awnings. Decoration is cosy. The hotel has lots of natural light and small corners with traditional, shiny furniture that was stylishly restored. It is near the beautiful Quinta Magnólia, just 15 min on foot from Funchal’s centre.

The hotel has 147 spacious, comfortable rooms with view over the sea or over the dense, leafy trees of Quinta Magnólia. The robes in every room invite guests to relax by the outdoor pool or indoor pool with embedded Jacuzzi that simulates a calming thermal bath. In addition to the gym, which has cardio fitness and weight-lifting equipment, guests can also enjoy the SPA, Sauna, Turkish Bath, relaxing massages, reflexology, reiki, pressotherapy, lymphatic drainage, among others. Hotel Allegro Madeira

Hotel Allegro has a Nordic-style decoration in pastel tones. Its suspended armchairs, flavoured waters and decorative quotations convey an explicit message – “Enjoy Life.” This 4-star hotel, part of the Barceló Hotel Group, is sought both by those who go to Madeira to relax and to work. Its location in Estrada Monumental do Funchal allows for access on foot to many restaurants, stores, beaches, shopping centre or the heart of the city.

Hotel Allegro Madeira has 124 rooms that have private balconies decorated with blue and white tiles harmonizing with sea or city view. It has a cosy atmosphere and includes commodities, such as water, tea, coffee, a pillow menu and robes. The hotel has an outdoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, massage rooms and a small gym that is open on pool side. In the terrace, guests can enjoy a (stunning) 360º view over the ocean and Funchal. Boutique hotel, luxury SPA, at a 2 km distance from Funchal’s centre

The recently renovated Savoy Gardens is divided in two areas: a classic style hotel with outdoor pool and a new space that comprises Restaurante Culinarium, the gym, Spa (with indoor pool) and 9 rooms decorated in a modern, luxurious way. This hotel has multiple entertainment areas, a gaming area (putting green, darts or shuffleboard), library, bar and even a hairdresser!

Moreover, it has 133 spacious rooms with all the commodities. It has free Internet, cable TV and air conditioning. The terrace bar has the most stunning panoramic views over Funchal’s bay. This hotel is part of the PortoBay group and defines itself as an urban resort – a relaxing place of well-being close to the sea promenade and old town of Funchal.
