Questa famosa escursione inizia dal Picco Areeiro, a 1818 m di altitudine, e si collega al Picco Ruivo, il pi\u00f9 alto di Madeira con i suoi 1862 m di altezza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nelle giornate nuvolose o con nebbia passeggera, sembra di camminare tra le nuvole grazie alla formazione di nubi a queste altitudini. Si gode di una splendida vista sul Curral das Freiras (noto anche come Valle delle Monache) e sulla Ribeira da Faj\u00e3 da Nogueira.
