Een van de opvallendste aspecten van de cultuur van Madeira is de volksmuziek, die een mix van Afrikaanse en Europese ritmes bevat en vaak wordt uitgevoerd op traditionele instrumenten zoals de cavaquinho (een kleine gitaar) en de braguinha (een viersnarig instrument).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Een ander kenmerk van de cultuur van Madeira zijn de traditionele ambachten, zoals mandenvlechten, borduren en vlechtwerk.
