We took a private half-day open Jeep tour of the Western part of Madeira, and it was excellent. Our guide/driver, João, was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. He took us west of Funchal<span class="booking-item-review-more"> to a local fishing village called Câmara de Lobos, to Cabo Girão for stunning ocean views, then up to Nun’s Valley, along windy and steep off roads through countryside villages and forests and dropped us off for a short levada walk with scenic ocean views. We ended our tour at the São Sebãstio viewpoint for another spectacular view over the Atlantic Ocean. All along the way he gave us great insights into local Madeiran life, culture and traditions. Highly recommended!</span>
What can i say ? what an amazing day!!! 45 euros each to start, off roading (exhilirating), our driver VICTOR is the best guide you could ask for, even tho he was young, his knowledge, multi linguist<span class="booking-item-review-more"> skills (english, french, german and ukraine in our party) were second to none, he was both extremely knowledgable and fun and showed us some amazing sights and places as well as some history and background to madeira, THANK YOU VICTOR FOR AN AMAZING DAY !!!!!! YOU ARE WORTH YOUR WEIGHT IN GOLD, TOTALLY LOVED THE DAY AND YOU CERTAINLY KNOW HOW TO MAKE US HOLIDAYMAKERS FEEL WELCOME AND RELAXED, YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF YOURSELF!!!!, the views from the top of the mountains above the clouds are breathtaking, the rum factory, the house in Santana, the levada walk, everything was absolutely first class, can't wait to do it again next year Su and Martin Trulio XX</span>
