Funchal Apartment: Views, Comfort & Prime Location!

Experience stunning city, mountain, and sea views from this superb apartment in Funchal’s São Martinho district. Ideal for families or guests with special access needs, it offers free WiFi and private on-site parking.

T1 Funchal Apartment – Central & Convenient

This charming T1 apartment is ideally located near the center of Funchal, just a 3-minute walk away. It features one bedroom with both a double and a single bed, a separate living room (not open-plan with the kitchen), and a bathroom with a bath. Enjoy central views from your private balcony. You’ll find a supermarket (Modelo, Pinga Doce), pharmacy, and shopping all within easy reach, plus a bus stop nearby. The beach is just a 10-minute walk.

Studio Amarelo 2 is a cozy 26 m² accommodation featuring a partial ocean view, perfect both as a standalone unit or as an extension to the Amarelo Apartment. It’s an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers looking for a convenient base for their adventures. The studio comes equipped with a basic kitchenette including a refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster – everything you need for preparing breakfast and light snacks. For your comfort, the studio features a private bathroom with a hydromassage shower. While it doesn’t include a balcony, it offers great value for those seeking a practical and affordable accommodation option.

Studio Azul (Portuguese for “blue” – like the local sky) is a generous 35 m² studio that impresses with its thoughtful layout. The bright and airy interior, enhanced by two windows facing south and southwest, offers a comfortable space with a kitchenette and a spacious private bathroom. The kitchenette is equipped for preparing breakfasts and light snacks – we encourage our guests to explore the local flavors in nearby restaurants and bars, where you can experience authentic Madeiran cuisine.

The studio’s crown jewel is its 20 m² western terrace, providing the perfect vantage point for watching spectacular sunsets over the ocean and Funchal bay. This terrace becomes an exclusive viewing spot during the annual Madeira Atlantic Festival, when international fireworks competitions light up the sky for four Saturdays in June, as well as on New Year’s Eve. These breathtaking displays attract spectators from around the globe.

Vivenda Belo Horizonte is perched on a top cliff (142 meters) above the Garajau Natural Sea Reserve – a protected habitat of a rare fish, indigenous birds and even Mediterranean monk seals – this splendid villa is blessed with an uninterrupted 180º view over and across the Atlantic ocean, with the rugged Desertas Islands to the east and Garajau’s famous Statue of Christ to the west. This stupendous panorama alone would make Vivenda Belo Horizonte highly desirable, but this spacious property also boasts the added luxury of its own small kidney-shaped pool from which to admire this beguiling outlook – a highly unusual bonus on Madeira. Offering all the comforts of a real family home, the accommodation is arranged on two floors. On the upper floor are four double bedrooms, three of which have direct access to a balcony. The master bedroom has a superb en suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub, another bedroom is also en suite, and there is a third bathroom to serve the remaining two bedrooms. Downstairs is a spacious living room with comfy leather sofas, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen for those who wish to enjoy family meals in the privileged seclusion of the poolside terrace. Caniço de Baixo with its diving school, seawater swimming pool and a small rocky beach is just a little further and can be reached by car in 5 minutes, as can Caniço itself. For more cosmopolitan days or nights out, Funchal is just 9 km away, easily accessed via the new airport road. For those who enjoy sporting pursuits, the Santo da Serra Golf Club is 20 km away.
