Cristiano Ronaldo’s private jet touched down at Madeira International Airport – Cristiano Ronaldo late this afternoon, marking the football star’s return to his home island just a day before his 41st birthday.

The Gulfstream G650, valued at approximately €70 million, arrived around 18:30. While the arrival suggests a birthday celebration tomorrow, February 5, it comes during a turbulent period for the Portuguese captain in the Saudi Pro League.

Ronaldo reportedly missed his team’s match on Monday due to growing dissatisfaction with the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia. Sources indicate the forward feels there is unequal treatment between his club, Al-Nassr, and other PIF-backed clubs, specifically their main rival, Al-Hilal.

According to reports, both Ronaldo and coach Jorge Jesus had requested significant reinforcements during the recent winter transfer window to strengthen the squad for the title race. However, these signings did not materialize, while rival clubs secured major impact transfers, further fueling the captain’s frustration.
