We are in Funchal, and we look towards the twilight. Do you know what we see? Absolutely nothing! No buildings, towers or bridges. Only nature, an endless ocean, a constant line that balances days and nights and with the 3 Desert Islands there in the background, a little to the left.

Although it seems they are posing for photos, they are actually living in their own enchanted world. Whales who may or may not give off embarrassing odours, decide if they will honour us with a visit. Adding to this 3 hour memorable taste of wild life, we sometimes have the opportunity of spotting turtles and seabirds.
When the climate is inviting, we stop for a swim in the ocean below Cabo Girão, and when there are favourable winds, we turn off the engines and hoist the sails, which means less pollution and more relaxation.
