A 3.6 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale was registered this morning in the Madeira archipelago. The epicentre was located in the ‘Madeira Tore’ zone, between Madeira and the mainland.

The information about the tremor, which was registered at 08:26, was transmitted by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere. It is unlikely that this event was felt.
