Lombo do Mouro – From the Valleys to the Mountains

The meeting spot for this hike is in the Serra de Água parish. The climb starts between a group of houses and cultivated plots, on a narrow trail, which leads to Lombo do Mouro, at 1250m in altitude.

The climb is physically demanding, but very rewards the hikers along the way with the views, including stunning scenery above the majestic Serra de Água Valley.

After passing through Monte Medonho “levada” (waterway), the hike ends in Ribeira da Tabua.
