If you don't have much time, then I suggest you book this walk. The perfect guide and host for it. He knows a lot about the history of Madeira and the levada's. We would recommend this trip to anyone.

Excellent walking tour. The Levada is incredible and worth all the steps ! Guide was excellent. Well worth getting off the sun bed for a day.

The trip was awesome, made all three better by the fantastic weather. The hike is challenging though and i think it should state more clearly that a good level of fitness is needed.

Great fun day out with a trip around the nature reserve and the chance to swim, snorkel, paddle board and kayak all in one trip. Crew are absolutely fabulous and genuinely seem to love their jobs and love sailing. They were friendly and helpful and keen to get everyone to try something new i.e. paddle boarding. Lunch was included and was pretty amazing considering everything was preprepared and taken on the catamaran. We also took a detour to see dolphins on the way back. This is a fairly long trip and so if you get travel sick make sure you are prepared in advance. My daughter was ill on the way there (and some others) and the crew were very professional, gave her a tablet, and kept checking up on her. They are obviously used to it and deal with this very well.
