The Porto Moniz campsite is one of the locations that will serve as a filming location for the Star Wars series “The Acolyte”, so it will be closed to the public until the beginning of next week. The closure will take place from today, March 14, until Monday, the 20th.

As reported by your newspaper, the filming of this global production started yesterday and will take place at various locations across the island, including Caniçal, Ribeira da Janela, and Porto Moniz.

The series’ cast is already in the region, putting Madeira on the map for the world to see.
