The Funchal City Council issued a statement yesterday informing the population that the Ecological Park of Funchal will be closed this Sunday due to bad weather forecasts.

“The Funchal City Council informs that the Funchal Ecological Park will be closed this Sunday, October 18th, due to the forecast of adverse weather conditions”, it can be read in the information.

The municipality “thanks everyone for their understanding and calls on the population to comply with the recommendations of the competent authorities in terms of prevention”.

A Câmara Municipal do Funchal emitiu, ontem, um comunicado a informar a população que o Parque Ecológico do Funchal estará encerrado este domingo devido às previsões de mau tempo.

“A Câmara Municipal do Funchal informa que o Parque Ecológico do Funchal estará encerrado este domingo, dia 18 de outubro, devido à previsão de condições meteorológicas adversas”, pode ler-se na informação.

A autarquia “agradece a compreensão de todos e apela a que a população cumpra as indicações das autoridades competentes em termos de prevenção”.
