Funchal has already started testing Christmas lighting. Yesterday night, the city pier, which this year will have as a novelty the introduction of technological innovations, namely a video screen, forming a tunnel of 80 meters, with more than one million pixels, lit up and made the delights of who passed by at the moment.

It is recalled that the Christmas illuminations of this year were awarded by the Regional Secretariat for Tourism and Culture to the company Teixeira Couto, responsible for several other projects in the country.

This investment was around 940 thousand euros.

O Funchal já começou a testar a iluminação de Natal. Ontem à noite, o cais da cidade, que este ano terá como novidade a introdução de inovações tecnológicas, nomeadamente um ecrã de video, formando um túnel de 80 metros, com mais de um milhão de pixels, acendeu-se e fez as delícias de quem por lá passou no momento.

Recorde-se que as iluminações de Natal dete ano foram adjudicadas pela Secretaria Regional do Turismo e Cultura à empresa Teixeira Couto, responsável por diversos outros projetos no país.

Este investimento rondou os 940 mil euros.
