In the last 24 hours, the Region has presented seven cases of Covid-19, bringing to 320 the total number of confirmed cases, 101 of which are active, IASAÚDE released this Sunday.
The 3 cases of local transmission correspond to contacts close to a recently diagnosed imported case, which were the target of testing.
Another 8 contacts of this imported case are under study.
One of the positive cases confirmed today, was in a school context. The young man in question attended school on the 14th and 15th of October, after having had close contact with a positive case of COVID-19. 31 contacts of the youth were identified in the school context, 12 of which were close contacts.

Outros 8 contactos deste caso importado estão em estudo.
Um dos casos positivos confirmados hoje, esteve num contexto escolar. O jovem em causa frequentou a escola no dia 14 e 15/10, após ter tido contacto próximo com um caso positivo de COVID-19. Foram identificados 31 contactos do jovem no contexto escolar, 12 dos quais foram contactos próximos.
