In view of the warnings now issued, the SRPC, IP-RAM, reiterates the alert for the following recommendations:

• Close doors and windows and remove loose objects found on balconies and window sills.
• Whenever possible, avoid travelling to areas affected by this type of weather situation.
• Do not drive around areas with degraded buildings, due to the risk of collapse.
• Pay attention to the assembled structures (scaffolding, awnings, tents, roofs), which may be affected by stronger gusts of wind, as well as a possible fall of trees.
• Special attention to circulation or obstructed roads, caused by detachment of objects.
• Adopt defensive driving, reducing speed and taking special care with the possible of water tables formation;
• Ensure the clearance of rainwater drainage systems and removal of aggregates and other objects that can be dragged or create obstacles to the free flow of water;
• The risks that, with these conditions, represent the auto and pedestrian routes, especially in mountainous areas, exposed slopes and coastal areas, therefore advising special care in activities during the period in which the warning is in force;
• Damage to mounted or suspended infrastructure;
• Be attentive to weather information and indications from Civil Protection and Security Forces

Face aos avisos agora emitidos o SRPC, IP-RAM, reitera o alerta para as seguintes recomendações:

• Feche portas e janelas e retire os objetos soltos que se encontrem nas varandas e peitorais das janelas.
• Sempre que possível, evite as viagens para as zonas afetadas por este tipo de situação meteorológica.
• Não circule por zonas com prédios degradados, devido ao risco de derrocadas.
• Preste atenção às estruturas montadas (andaimes, toldos, tendas, telhados), que poderão ser afectadas por rajadas mais fortes de vento, bem como a uma possível queda de árvores.
• Especial atenção à circulação ou a obstrução de vias, provocados por desprendimento de objetos provocados por ventos fortes, contínuos ou em rajada;
• Adotar uma condução defensiva, reduzindo a velocidade e tendo especial cuidado com a possível formação de lençóis de água;
• Garantir a desobstrução dos sistemas de escoamento das águas pluviais e retirada de inertes e outros objetos que possam ser arrastados ou criem obstáculos ao livre escoamento das águas;
• Os riscos que representam, com estas condições, os percursos auto e apeados, sobretudo nas zonas montanhosas, vertentes expostas e zonas costeiras pelo que aconselha cuidados especiais nas atividades durante o período em que vigora o aviso;
• Danos em infraestruturas montadas ou suspensas;
• Estar atento às informações da meteorologia e às indicações da Proteção Civil e Forças de Segurança
