The impact of restrictions imposed by Portugal on connections with the United Kingdom is already being felt.

As of this Monday, five easyJet, TUI Airways and Jet2 flights from London, Bristol and the East Midlands to Madeira have been canceled.

However, despite the cancellations, it is known that the companies have positioned flights that will land empty at Madeira International Airport – Cristiano Ronaldo, to collect passengers and guarantee flights previously scheduled to the United Kingdom.

This will be the case with two easyJet flights originating in London (Gatwick), and Bristol, scheduled to arrive at 10:58 am and 11:19 am today, respectively.

Two flights to Madeira and originating in London (Heathrow) from British Airways are still confirmed.

Para esta segunda-feira, estão dados como cancelados cinco voos da easyJet, TUI Airways e Jet2 provenientes de Londres, Bristol e Midlands Orientais que tinham como destino a Madeira.

No entanto, apesar dos cancelamentos, sabe-se que as companhias posicionaram voos que irão aterrar vazios no Aeroporto Internacional da Madeira – Cristiano Ronaldo, para proceder à recolha de passageiros e garantir os voos previamente agendados com destino ao Reino Unido.

Será o caso de dois voos da easyJet com origem em Londres (Gatwick), e Bristol, com aterragem prevista para as 10h58 e 11h19 de hoje, respetivamente.
