The latest official data shows that in Italy there were 793 deaths in the last 24 hours, rising to 4,825 the number of deaths registered in a month due to the new coronavirus outbreak.

In an increasingly difficult situation and in need of all possible help, a renowned doctor from Italy, Paolo Ascierto, of the “Pascale” Institute in Naples, speaking to Tuttosport, appealed to the help of Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo, currently fulfilling his quarantine on the island of Madeira.

“I have been a Juventus fan since I was born, I have Ronaldo’s jersey in my office, I ask the Portuguese player to join us in this fight, because he is a champion of solidarity and sensitivity,” said Paolo Ascierto.
