So far, six flights have been canceled at Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport, according to information available on the ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal website.

The bad weather forecast for the entire Madeira archipelago should be the reason for the cancellation of six flights at Madeira Airport, three departures and three arrivals.

TAROM company flights to and from Bucharest were cancelled; from SAS Scandinavian to and from Arhus (Denmark); and TUIfly to and from Munich.

There is also the delay of the aircraft operated by Binter, which should have made the connection between Porto Santo and Madeira at 8:55 am, but has not yet landed.

Note that the Captaincy of the Port of Funchal extended this morning the strong wind warning until 06:00 tomorrow, the 20th of December.
