Overview

Starting at the Queimadas guest house and walking along the Levada of Caldeirão Verde called Madeira, we make our way westwards through an emerald green paradise.

Soon after the start, we see the most spectacular views of the villages far below. A waterfall comes into view and soon after passing it, we go through some short tunnels and after a while we arrive at Caldeirão Verde majestic waterfall.

Following a short rest, during which we have our picnic, we begin the return journey. A highly recommended walk to some of the most remote parts of the island.

Sportive shoes with a good grip or walking boots.
If requested Rucksacks and walking sticks can be provided by the organization.
Clients Should be prepared for all weather conditions due to the changeable weather.

Please add the pick-up location on "Special Requirements" when fulfilling the reservation form.

If the child in under 12 years old and does not have 135 centimetres in height, please let us know (in the comment section) as by Portuguese law it requires a baby seat / booster seat.

Please do note that children under the age of 5 years old go free of charge (maximum of 2). However, they are entirely at the parent's responsibility and accountability.
