Overview

Departure to the village of Camacha for a visit to the wickerwork factory. Next, ascent to Poiso on the way to Pico do Areeiro (1818 m). Descent to Ribeiro Frio where you may visit a trout farm as well as admire an important part of the Laurissilva forest of Madeira, which was recently awarded World Heritage status.

We continue our trip to Santana, known for its thatched roof houses. Stop for lunch (not included).

Next, we go on to Ponta de São Lourenço . Return to Funchal with a last stop at town of Machico.

East Tour superb

This is Madeira island recommended us with a superb full day tour of the eastern side of Madeira, taking in the high peaks, Santana, Porto da Cruz, Machico among other places. Despite poor weather we had a fantastic tour. Our driver was wonderfully enthusiastic and very knowledgeable which made the trip thoroughly worthwhile and it's only €28!!!

Sweet and funny guides and wonderful tours

I took two tours with Floral Travel while my stay in Madeira, the one of the east coast and the west coast. My guides were Pedro and Danilo. The tours are amazing as the landscapes are breathtaking. The guides were very professional, warm and funny! They spoke many languages so everyone could understand: English, French, Spanish etc and they were curious about their guests showing warm interest. I'll recommend everyone to take the tours with these two wonderful people.
