A great winery experience, that starts on the NW coast of the island, at the emblematic village of São Vicente and goes into the vineyard to show the connection between the soil, the microclimate, the growing conditions, all the process that will increase your knowledge about the essence of wine. Then a wonderful tasting of white, red and rosé wines, with awesome view makes it memorable.

It’s time to go back to the SW coast of the island, to the sunny village of Calheta to visit a cosy and informal vineyard hotel dating from 17th century with special reception by the owner, where you will experience our wonderful cuisine for lunch including madeira wine as aperitif and local rum as digestive.

A 3 course meal lunch, with amazing views overlooking the vineyards and the ocean will be offered.

It’s time for another Madeira wine tasting, this time on a rural oasis located in Funchal, that comprises of gardens rich flora, as well as vineyards and the manor house which has been in the Blandy’s family for 7 successive generations.
