Um Caminho para Todos

Um Caminho para todos means “A path for everyone”. Starting in Santana, this is a short and accessible trail that can be done by anyone, to enjoy the nature until its end at the traditional and well-known Casa das Queimadas.

Levada do Alecrim

Starting in the Rabaçal area, this is a stunning route, full of endemic species of fauna and flora of Madeira. At the end of the path, you will observe the waterfall and lagoon of Dona Beja, framed in an impressive and peace-loving space. Enjoy to take a picnic and absorb the good energy of nature.

Vereda dos Balcões

A wonderful short path, to the viewpoint of Balcões, from where it is possible to have a panoramic view of Pico do Areeiro and Pico do Gato. Look up to the beauty of the scenery and enjoy the company of Chaffinches, one of the most common bird species in Madeira.

Levada do Furado

This is one of Madeira’s most known hikes, which is a bit longer and maybe requires more resistance. The path starts next to the Ribeiro Frio Trout Park, where children can meet a significant number of trouts of several sizes, and ends next to the portela viewpoint, where you can see the iconic Rocha da Penha D’Águia.

Levada do Rei

Starting in Santana, one of the most traditional of Madeira, this path takes the hikers on an enchanting adventure through the laurissilva wood. At the end, the lagoons and waterfalls form extraordinary surroundings to look up to the beauty of nature.
