Today there are 14 new positive cases to report, so RAM now counts 653 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the regional territory.

These are 2 imported cases (1 from Venezuela and 1 from the Autonomous Region of the Azores) and 12 cases of local transmission, mostly associated with contacts of previously identified positive cases.

Two new cases are associated with 1 imported case also identified today and, in 2 situations, contacts are still under investigation.

It should be noted that 1 of the cases of local transmission identified today concerns a health professional from the RAM Health Service, EPERAM, with an association with 1 positive case already identified.

Today there are 9 more recovered cases to report.

Hoje há 14 novos casos positivos a reportar, pelo que a RAM passa a contabilizar 653 casos confirmados de COVID-19 no território regional.

Trata-se de 2 casos importados (1 provenientes Venezuela e 1 da Região Autónoma dos Açores) e 12 casos de transmissão local, associados, na maioria, a contactos de casos positivos anteriormente identificados.

Dois novos casos estão associados a 1 caso importado também identificado hoje e, em 2 situações, os contactos estão ainda sob investigação.

A assinalar que 1 dos casos de transmissão local identificados hoje diz respeito a um profissional de saúde do Serviço de Saúde da RAM, EPERAM, com associação a 1 caso positivo já identificado.

Hoje há mais 9 casos recuperados a reportar.
