According to the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), Madeira will experience generally cloudy skies today with periods of rain, which may be locally heavy, especially in the southern slopes and highlands in the afternoon. There is a possibility of thunderstorms.

As for the wind, it will be weak to moderate (up to 30 km/h) from the South-Southwest, blowing moderate to strong (30 to 45 km/h), especially in the highlands. On the North coast, waves of West-Northwest are expected to reach 2 to 3 meters, while on the South coast, waves will be from West-Southwest, ranging from 2 to 3 meters.

The sea water temperature will be around 20/21 degrees Celsius. Regarding the air temperature, the maximum will be 24 degrees Celsius, and the minimum will be 20 degrees Celsius.
