When planning your trip to Madeira and Porto Santo, it is important to know the rules in force in this Region, within the scope of the prevention and containment of COVID-19. 


RULES

1. It is mandatory to complete the epidemiological survey. For your convenience you can fill it in the 12 to 48 hours prior to departure, through:  https://madeirasafe.com

All passengers on flights from abroad who carry a negative PCR test for COVID-19 disease , carried out within 72 hours prior to departure, in laboratories certified by national or international authorities, upon disembarkation, proceed to their destination.

Passengers disembarking at airports in the Autonomous Region of Madeira who  have not performed a PCR test for COVID-19 disease, will do so at their airport upon arrival. 

After performing the PCR test , the passenger will proceed to their destination, where they must wait for the result of the PCR test, in confinement. The passenger will be informed of the result within an estimated period of 12 hours.

THE PCR TEST FOR COVID-19 DISEASE IS PERFORMED AT THE AIRPORT AND AT NO COST TO THE PASSENGER.
